DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS
FOUR IS MORE
DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS
Let's face it, we’re better together! God has designed us for relationships. We are made to affect one another and be affected by one another. We are to spur one another on to love and good works. That is exactly why SBC has launched Four is More. We know that we grow deeper and go farther in our relationship with Christ when we go together.
More Purpose:
If you have a pulse, you have a purpose. Jesus called his 12 disciples together to walk with Him. He chose a small group to know Him deeply and then sent them out to share with others about Him. Pursuing Christ together not only transforms us, it can transform our friends, family and the world around us for the glory of God and the good of others.
More Power:
We’re stronger together. There really is power in numbers. So why do it alone? Paul in his letters makes mention of those who encouraged & supported him in the race set before him. As believers in Christ, we have the power of the Holy Spirit at work within us to be used for the building up of the body of Christ. Let’s do it!
More Accountability:
It might make you uneasy, but accountability is a gift. We ALL sin and we all have blind spots. Sin loses its power over us when we confess it, flee it and have others to share our victories and struggles with. When one falls down, another can lift them up with an attitude of love, grace, and forgiveness.
More Fruit:
As we abide in Christ (the vine) we are guaranteed to produce the fruit of the Spirit in our life. This is what sets us apart and shows the world who our Savior is. Our fruit demonstrates who we are. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. God uses our relationships to prune us, nourish us and grow us.
LET'S GO! LET'S RUN THIS RACE TOGETHER, WITH PURPOSE, POWER AND ACCOUNTABILITY.
